I was very skeptical about going to a nutritionist at 1st but from the very first meeting I had with Ms. Mills I could tell it was going to be a good fit for me. She actually listens to what your goals are, and makes a plan with you (not just for you). She takes in to account what you like to eat and what you don’t and build a plan off of that. She is amazing in helping you build a plan that still lets you have food you like but how to modify them to make it healthier. She has totally changed my mind set on how to look at my diet. She told me that nothing was going to be forbidden but that I jus needed to make it work within my daily diet. I thought this really help because I didn’t feel like I was being told no but i definitely had to think was it worth it to indulge in something knowing what my longer term goals were. She has an app. that is interactive which has helped me a lot. Being able to get feed back on my daily food logs is great. She will suggest a way to make something healthier or suggest i should add something to my dinner to make it more balanced. I have had a steady decline in my weight and have notice inches off my measurements. I never thought it be so easy to change things butt Ms. Mills makes it simple. I would and have recommended her to anyone looking for help in eating healthier.

I have been working with Ms. Mills since April 2022, and I have to say- absolutely amazing. First and foremost- her kindness and empathy have helped a lot. Freshman year of college comes with many adjustments and challenges, one of them being maintaining a healthy diet and exercise schedule. I have always been really active and focused on clean eating, but I definitely fell away from this lifestyle my first semester. Being home for Christmas break helped to get me back on track, falling into a solid routine again, but I was anxious about being back in the dorms and potentially falling back into bad habits. I set some goals for myself to strive towards, like signing up for my first half-marathon in the coming up summer. My parents and I agreed it would be a good idea to meet with a personal trainer back at school to help me reach my goals- we had experience with a really great one at our home gym so we thought it would be a good reinforcement for me. When I met with Kierston the first time, we clicked immediately. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about helping me and teaching me. We met once a week for the entire semester, and I have learned so much. She definitely pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of- I broke through many limitations I had set for myself. For the first time I realized why people love “making gains”! For the first half of the semester, we stuck with lifting and strength training, and then after spring break she introduced me to high intensity interval workouts (which I have absolutely loved!) I always asked her so many questions about fitness, nutrition, honestly everything; each time I left knowing something new to change or apply to my routine.
